"As wound care professionals, the Braden Scale for Predicting Pressure Sore Risk® is near and dear to our hearts. With that in mind, our evidence-based tool needs to be used correctly to yield accurate results. Working with long-term care and geriatric populations opens up a world of multiple pre-existing comorbidities and risk factors that aren’t always explicitly written into the Braden Scale categories."
In March 2021, HMP Global acquired Kestrel Health Information, Inc. Now, WoundSource, WoundCon (the world’s largest virtual wound care conference) and the WoundSource Academy join HMP Global’s expansive portfolio of educational events and publications for clinicians.
In 2022 you can expect more from us, with even greater options and opportunities. We now reach more than 90% of wound care clinicians in the United States and have a fast-growing international audience across all wound care events, websites and publications. We aim to close the gap to make wound care education accessible to all wound care clinicians, not just in the United States, but around the world—which we can now do faster than ever before.
We would like to extend a warm thank-you to all our speakers, writers and sponsors for sharing their experiences and expertise. A special thank-you goes out to you, our attendees, without whom none of this would be possible. We hope you'll continue your support in the coming year. Wishing you a Happy New Year and all good things in 2022.
