Dr. Woelfel holds her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and is an Associate Professor of Clinical Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC). She holds a dual faculty appointment in the Department of Surgery. Additionally, she is the Director of Clinical Physical Therapy for Hospital Outpatient Services at Keck Medical Center, and the lead physical therapist for the SALSA, or the Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance, clinic at USC.
She also provides independent consulting and has vast experience across multiple care settings. She is the current President of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Clinical Electrophysiology & Wound Management (ACEWM). Dr. Woelfel also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP) and the Post Acute Wound & Skin Integrity Council (PAWSIC), and is an author on multiple scholarly papers.
