XTRASORB® Super Absorbent foam adhesive dressings use polymer technology that provides superior absorption with an osmotic pull to draw fluid to the back of the dressing. The polymer technology locks harmful fluid components (such as MMPs) in the dressing and converts it to a gel.
• Reduces the risk of maceration of periwound skin by moving exudate directly to the back of the dressing, away from the wound site
• Allows for fewer dressing changes, leaving the fragile wound bed relatively undisturbed
• Outer layer provides additional cushioning and pressure redistribution
XTRASORB® Foam may be used for: pressure, venous, arterial and neuropathic ulcers, post-operative and traumatic wounds and donor sites.
