Lindsay (Prussman) Andronaco graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She was the class representative, National Dean's List honoree, and received the “Excellence in Nursing Award,” from the Dean of Nursing. She completed her graduate level training at Wicks Educational Institute where she received specialty training as a Wound Care Specialist and Wound Ostomy Continence nurse. Her practicum was completed at Georgetown University Hospital under mentors Dr. Christopher Attinger and Dr. John Steinberg, who are world-renowned for their Limb Salvage techniques. She worked with the Georgetown team for almost four years before relocating to New England.

Since that time, she has worked with a variety of patients including those in the Burn ICU, transplant recipients, urology, surgical, and orthopedic patients. However her main focus is Diabetic Limb Salvage/Surgical/Plastic Reconstruction patients. She has special interests in Biotherapy, ACell for pilonidal cysts, and Kennedy Terminal Ulcer research.

Lindsay is board certified in wound care by the Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing Certification Board. She also is a Diplomate for the American Professional Wound Care Association. In 2011, Lindsay was honored with the Dorland Health People's Award in the category of 'Wound Ostomy Continence nurse.' This national award honors excellence and dedication of healthcare professionals. The Dorland Health People Awards set the benchmark for recognizing those who provide outstanding patient care and system improvements across the diverse healthcare landscape. She was also recognized in Case In Point Magazine as being one of the "Top People in Healthcare." She was noted for her “passionate leadership and an overall holistic approach to medicine.”
